The premium hotel chain Four Seasons generated the most buzz at Monaco Yacht Week when it announced the formation of Four Seasons Yachts during a big reveal at the Monaco Oceanographic Museum. Its first superyacht will be a mind-blowing 200 metres and will make its debut in 2025.<\/p>\n
The project joins an increasing number of on-land hotels and resorts that are using their own Yachts for private charters and group sailings.<\/p>\n
Promoted features of the ominous, 95-guestroom Four Seasons ship with 14 decks, a 65-foot pool, 200 staff members on board, and a stunning, four-level “Pipe Suite” house with 9,600 square feet of living space and a private pool and Jacuzzi.<\/p>\n
Reservations will start to be taken by the end of 2023, and the first trip is expected to depart by the end of 2025.<\/p>\n
The shipbuilder has been chosen to be the Italian firm Four Seasons Fincantieri, and Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings is a partner in its operations with Four Seasons Yachts.<\/p>\n
Then, in the ensuing two years\u2014in late 2026 and late 2027, respectively\u2014two sister ships will launch.<\/p>\n
The combined price of the three ships was US$1.2 billion.<\/p>\n
One of the most crucial ways to differentiate this product from luxury cruises is the fact that the vessels will be staffed and operated exactly like a hotel in its group.<\/p>\n
The ship will provide each visitor a totally unique schedule in the yachting way rather than a selection of prearranged daily activities.<\/p>\n
The Four Seasons Yachts brand expansion isn’t the only player in this emerging category. Evrima, the first of three ships in the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, will make her debut this year. Each ship will include 149 guest apartments, each with a private deck and space for two.<\/p>\n
The next two ships in the fleet will make their debuts in 2024 and 2025, respectively, and the Ritz-Carlton yachts will also be available for private charter.<\/p>\n
Aman has launched Project Sama, a 600-foot, 50-suite superyacht created by SINOT Yacht Architecture & Design.<\/p>\n
When it sets sail in 2025, it will join Aman’s existing flagship boat, the 170-foot, two-masted phinisi sailing ship Amandira located in Indonesia.<\/p>\n
